This will be my last night in Hawaii for a long while. I finally finished packing and stuff. I didn't pack light. I have two suitcases full and I also took some suitcase space from my dad's suitcase. I'm going to Japan tomorrow! I'm so excited! I'll be living in Japan for a year.

I won't be making another post in this blog for a while. I'll be making posts in my Akita blog from now on. I hope I do well while I'm in Akita ^^.

I still can't believe that I'm going to be leaving the nest soon. I have so many mixed emotions. It's like sadness, nervousness, and excitement. I haven't really studied my Japanese since I ended my semester at school.

Japan is in 2 days!!!

Yesterday, I finally went shopping ^^. I went to Macy's and bought Clinique's Water Therapy Moisture Glove Hand Cream and Benefit's Boi-ing concealer.



oh yeah, I HAVE to type this..DON'T BUY BODY SHOP'S HEMP HAND PROTECTOR. It smells so bad! Well, it works well for the purpose of a moisturizer, but I don't think it's worth it if it smells the way it does.

Drama update:
I finished Saitou-san, My Little Chef, Lunch no Joou, Yume wo Kanaeru Zo, and Gokusen 3. I think my favorite Jdrama from this list would have to be Lunch no Joou. It's a drama from 2002, but it's really good. This drama really makes me crave omelete rice :3.

I'm currently watching Code Blue and Teppan Shojo Akane. Yes, I know. It's taking me a really long time to finish Teppan Shojo Akane. I still can't get into it, but I really want to see how Akane finds her father.

I've only watched the first episode of Code Blue, but it's pretty good so far. If you enjoy American shows like ER or Grey's Anatomy, you'll probably enjoy watching Code Blue.

Okay okay, this is totally random. I watch Lukian Wang's videos on youtube and she recently got a haircut. Her haircut is just like mine. I say this "just like mine," because I got a haircut before she did. But anyway, I think it's SO cute.

okay, new drama update->I started watching Saitou-san. It's a drama about housemothers, who are constanting trying to set an example for their children. Saitou is one of the housemothers and she's like the heroine of the story, who's always trying to do the moral thing. At the beginning, all the mothers are against what Saitou tries to do (even though they know she's right). These other mothers just don't want to deal with the future conflicts that the world outside of the pre-school (or maybe it is a kindergarten?) might give them.




oh yeah, I still haven't finished watching My Litte Chef and Teppan Shojo Akane. I have one more episode of My Little Chef and plenty more episodes of Teppan Shojo Akane to go. I'm takign a long time on My Little Chef, because I'm savoring each episode (because the food looks so yummy)! The reason why I'm taking so long on Teppan Shojo Akane is because I don't have much interest in it. So why am I insistent on watching it? Well, I really want to see if Akane finds her father. XD

Ok, this is a quick update before I get back to my homework. Lately I've been watching "slice-of-life" anime. One of my friends suggested it to me, because it might help me with my Japanese. "hmm, what is this 'slice-of-life' anime," you may ask. Well it's just as the genre states. They a anime genre based on every day life ^^. When my friend told me to watch "slice-of-life" anime, I thought that it was the title of the anime. So I was thoroughly confused when I couldn't find this particular anime named "slice-of-life." haha, I'm so silly.

Now, for what I've been doing in my life other than school (bleh!)..Since I've gone back to wushu, I've had performances for this whole month. I think this is the year with the most performances (then again, I haven't performed in a while XD). BUT I do believe that this is the busiest of years (not only for wushu, but among other things).

Well, I better get back to my studies!

NOTE: I finished the Hana yori dango movie. I really really liked it! I thought that it'd be junk, because if the jdrama's a "hit" then the movie's usually doesn't turn out so well (due to high expectations). The first half of the movie was a little predictable, but the second half was a total turn-around! It was very enjoyable!

おひさしぶりだね。My New Year's was good. I burned some fireworks, stayed up very late, and ate ozoni (I LOVE that stuff). I think this is the first year that I thoroughly cleaned my room before the new year. IT'S AMAZING! So hopefully my room will stay clean for the rest of the year ^^.

Now since I'm back at school, I don't have much free time, but I'm trying to have fun when I can. I went back to wushu, my all time favorite sport. mehehe.

ok, now for the shows that I'm currently watching. For American shows, I'm watching Gossip Girls and Heroes. For Japanese dramas, I'm watching Teppan Shoujo Akane, My Little Chef, and Hana Yori Dango The Movie.

Over the winter break, I was watching Celeb to Binbo Taro. That was a pretty good drama from the beginning to the middle. But towards the end, it was kinda like "what?! is this really happening? Maybe it's one of the character's dreams." So I say that over all, this drama was "so-so". This drama stars Ueto Aya (one of my favorite actresses) and Kamiji Yusuke.

ok, so I've been SUPER busy with finals and everything. I've just been extremely depressed, because I haven't gone to wushu in a while and just school in general. I haven't practiced wushu this whole semester (well not the regular practices). I really miss everyone and I feel so left out. With school, it's a different type of feeling. I just feel like I'm just too dense to be going to college. This week was finals week, and I just had my last two exams today. I found out that I didn't do to hot on one of those two exams, because the grades are posted on the course site. The other reason why school is depressing is because I can't get into a Japanese class and I really need it. During this winter break, I'll definitely study my Japanese. I think maybe my lack of sleep is an addition to my low self esteem.

I've been watching Big Bang's "Number 1" mv and I really like it. Well, I think it's more the song than the video that I like (not quite sure).



JDORAMA UPDATE! I've watched a few..Cat Street, Yasuko to Kenji, Taiyo to Umi no kyoshitsu, Tatta Hitotsu no Koi, and Shaolin Girl. Cat Street and Taiyo to Umi no Kyoshitsu would probably be ranked as "human drama." Yasuko to Kenji and Shaolin Girl are "comedy." Tatta Hitotsu no Koi is "romance." Oh yeah, Shaolin Girl is a movie. It's a JMovie, but includes some Mandarin.
